- Anne Hathaway's cottage was built in 1463, 550 years ago.
- Anne Hathaway was born here in 1556.
- She was one of six children.
- In 1582, Anne was pregnant therefore they had to get married for the baby to be legitimate.
- Anne was 6 months pregnant when she married William Shakespeare.
- In 1610 the house was extended, to be a farm, by Bartholomew Hathaway, Anne's brother.
